PRYM is operated by Jesuferanmi Olaloku, operating PRYM, in New Jersey, United States. Contact the operator about privacy, access, correction, deletion, or complaints at prym.team.dev@gmail.com.

Information processed

PRYM processes account identifiers and authentication details; profile information such as birth date or age, goals, activity level, height, weight and body measurements; food descriptions, nutrition estimates, meal history and corrections; and chat messages and saved preferences. Camera and voice features process the images and recordings you submit. Operational records may include request identifiers, error categories, timing and usage information.

Purposes and recipients

We use this information to authenticate you, calculate estimates and plans, save and synchronize your records, respond to corrections and chat requests, protect the service, and troubleshoot failures. Nutrition and body estimates can reveal or infer health information.

PRYM uses Google Firebase for authentication and Cloudflare infrastructure for its API and data services. AI features send the information needed for the selected request to OpenAI, including submitted food text, images, voice recordings for transcription, conversation context, and relevant profile or meal context. These providers process information under their own applicable service terms and privacy practices. Do not include information about other people without their permission.

Choices and permissions

You choose whether to use camera, photo-library and microphone features and can control device permissions in system settings. Declining a device permission prevents the corresponding capture feature. Before an AI request is sent, PRYM asks for separate permission to share the necessary data with OpenAI. Declining leaves saved records and measurements available. Withdraw permission in Settings → AI data permission to stop new AI requests; device permissions alone do not withdraw AI-sharing permission. Contact us about other processing choices. Withdrawal does not undo processing that already occurred. A privacy policy is not a substitute for any separate permission the app must request.

Storage and deletion

Data is stored on your device and, for synchronized features, on service infrastructure. Records are retained while needed to operate your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and protect the service. Provider logs, backups and deletion schedules may differ from active application records. We do not promise immediate erasure from every backup.

Use the account deletion control to request deletion of your account and associated application records, or contact us if you cannot access it. Removing the app does not itself delete a server account. Exports include the scope indicated in the app; a local export is not necessarily a copy of every record held by every provider.

Consumer health data and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to confirm processing, obtain access or a copy, correct information, delete it, withdraw consent, or appeal a denied request. Contact prym.team.dev@gmail.com. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity. We do not sell consumer health data or use it for targeted advertising. We do not use precise location to infer visits to health facilities. We disclose information when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect people, investigate abuse or enforce the service terms. We will update this notice before materially expanding the described processing.

Age eligibility

PRYM currently requires users to be 18 or older. It is not available to children or teenagers under this release. If a future release offers access for ages 13–17, separate parent or guardian authorization and age-appropriate protections will apply. Contact us if you believe a child has supplied information contrary to these restrictions.

Security and international processing

We use technical and organizational safeguards, but cannot guarantee absolute security. Information may be processed in the United States or other countries where providers operate. Contact us about security concerns without sending passwords or unnecessary health information.

Changes

We will identify the effective date of updates and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required. Material changes do not authorize undisclosed use of previously collected health information.

Health-data requests and incidents

Send health-data access, deletion, consent-withdrawal or appeal requests to prym.team.dev@gmail.com with the subject “PRYM privacy request.” Do not email a password or unnecessary medical details. We will verify the account and respond within the time required by applicable law. We assess security incidents and provide notices to affected people and authorities when legally required, including applicable consumer-health breach rules.
